Federal Election 2004

Don't Waste Your Vote This Election

The Howard government is currently looking for a place to dump large amounts of dangerous radioactive waste.

The government has confirmed that this search includes places in Victoria but it has refused to make the full set of potential Victorian sites available to the community.

Even though the government doesn't know what to do with the radioactive waste it already has, it wants to make more. It is building an unnecessary and unsafe new nuclear reactor in Sydney. A new reactor is not needed for medical reasons and would mean more waste - and that means more chance of a radioactive dump in Victoria.

Vote for a Nuclear Free Future.

Put the Liberal and National parties last at the 2004 federal election.
